About Youth Finance Indonesia (YFI)
A youth-led organization concerning on financial literacy and education for Indonesian youth and children.
What did they learn as Youth Finance Indonesia Team
Lesson learned from some of YFI Alumni
During my time in YFI, I have learned about financial inclusion, the importance for people to have better access to the financial inclusion, and how to increase the national financial literacy rate. I have also learned about financial planning, investment, and emergency funds. From YFI, I start to do budgeting, plan my finance, and invest in certain instruments. YFI has given me better understandings about finance. Beside learning finance, I also got a great opportunity: becoming a Head of Volunteers at Global Money Week 2019, Chapter Indonesia. I learned about leadership and how to direct those volunteers to make GMW 2019 into a successful event, because this event was my first time to become a head in national-level committee.
I met many new friends and being more productive during college time. YFI was external activities with interesting events and can collaborate with many parties to improve financial literacy for various groups.
I’ve learned so much in this organization. One of many things that i learned is how to communicate with people, how to arrange a schedule, how to care about financial literacy and inclusion.
